After being left without a team in the F1, Ralf Schumacher decided it is the perfect time to make the change of his life. So, he chose to continue his racing career in DTM from now on, and besides that, he will run for the Mercedes-AMG DTM team. He was very enchanted after his first test laps at the Estoril track, so beginning from April, 13, year 2008, he will debut in the Hockenheim race behind the wheel of the exquisite 2007-spec Trilux Mercedes-AMG C-Klasse AMG. There are speculations around the media, that are quite logical, that Ralf could fill the place left empty by Mika Hakkinen after his 'retirement' from DTM.
