After the CLK, the CL name might also be replaced with the S-Klasse Coupe. In the case of the CLK-Klasse, the renaming decision was taken to restore the pride and glory of the W124 E-Klasse Coupe. The story is similar in the case of the CL-Klasse:Mercedes-Benz wants to bring back on the roads the image of the legendary SEC models.
