A good news came this morning from McLaren, which officially denied any attempt from Mercedes-Benz to force Ron Dennis to resign. They use as solid arguments the high leading position that Dennis occupies inside McLaren and the fact that he would likely be the only one to decide whether he stays or he leaves from one of his positions. McLaren also denied the series of speculations about the desire of Mercedes-Benz to buy the British company.

A new episode of the spygate scandal has been played after the italian police conducted some sort of investigation at McLaren, which the officials from Woking see as being irrelevant and not directly pointing towards McLaren guiltiness, as some important documents are yet to be examined. McLaren announced that they will inform the UK State for Defence about the way the italian investigation was carried on.
