The muscular SL Black Series is now in the last stage of road testing before the official unveiling, which is quite close. The camouflage still remains heavy, because of the fact that this special supercar has a unique aerodynamical body kit, thus it has completely new & more aggresive lines in the design. Which, obviously, have to come as a complete surprise for the viewers when the car is officially presented. Up until now we do not know anything certain about the power plant;some say it will be derived from the present 6.2 litres V8 featured on the CLK 63 AMG Black Series, which seems logical. And, to be honest, it will definitely have to pass over the 525 BHP of the SL 63 AMG. Also, weight reduction is another sticky issue;the number of kilos that will be subtracted remains, for the moment, a very well-guarded mystery.
