After being sent back with 5 positions on the starting grid at Sepang due to some weird decisions that came from somewhere above, both McLaren drivers struggled to achieve important points. The race was tensioned, from the start to the finish, McLaren were not in their good days, and at times, the drivers seemed to have forced their cars without any immediate result. All in all, this 2008 Malaysian GP has demonstrated to be a tough rock in front of McLaren's rise. However, I would like to congratulate Heikki and Lewis because of their devotion in this race and their attempts to get as much points as possible. The Finnish came third, and his teammate managed the 5th position. In the official constructor standings, McLaren is the leader with 24 points followed by BMW Sauber with 19 and Ferrari with 11. Lewis Hamilton is still the king of this Formula 1 championship, scoring 14 points after 2 races, followed closely by Kimi Raikkonen and Nick Heidfeld, both of them having 11 points.
