W212 prototype photographed in USA -- AGAIN!!!

We have to admit that, recently, spy photographers have been very active and maybe sleepless when it came to catch on tape the 2010 W212 prototypes. The avalanche of spy shots started a week or so ago and it still continues, with new images emerging today on LeftLaneNews . As you may already know, Mercedes-Benz moved to USA, more exactly in the Death Valley, California, to put its 2010 E-Klasse to run in harsh weather conditions, in one of the most unhospitable places around the world.

Moving on, a little remind now of what we are about to see on the new E-Klasse in terms of high-end technology and engines:firstly, the W212 will be installed with the latest generation of the COMAND infotainment system;moreover, a lane departure warning system, a traffic-sign indication system, a fatigue detector with eye-movement monitor, a complex stability management system that takes into account the tyre wear, the camber changes and the crosswinds plus road-condition sensors and possibly Night Vision(from the S-Klasse) will also come into force on the new generation of the E-Klasse. Not to forget about the epic PRO-SAFE safety philosophy, which includes the latest version of the well-known accident-detecting PRE-SAFE. The engines will most probably be borrowed from the new CLK-Klasse, expected to make its public debut this autumn, in Paris. They will include fresh V6 and V8 units, gasoline and diesel, with power outputs ranging from 204 BHP up to a massive 428 BHP for the top of the range E 500. The sporty E 63 AMG will continue to feature the current 6.2 litres naturally-aspirated V8, that will have certainly have a higher output than in the present.
