SPY - 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse Coupe: the dash gets exposed

For the first time since prototypes have hit streets, we get a glimpse of the dashboard the new C-Klasse Coupe will feature. Certainly, it will be spread across the new C-Klasse lineup, when it's officially revealed in March 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. The new dashboard got rid of the heavily criticized sharp, rectangular shapes and went instead for a rounder, sportier and more appealing approach. We have a new 3-spoke steering wheel, a new center console, a new instrument cluster divided into 3 separate, oval gauges, and also, the pop-up screen for the COMAND system is now gone, as fixed display, à la GLK, took its place. All in all, the dash of the new C-Klasse Facelift range is heavily inspired by the interior lines and details that made their series debut on the new CLS-Klasse.
