SPY: The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Black Series Sedan on the Ring

It should come as no surprise that Affalterbach engineers are prepping a hot Black Series variant for the new C 63 AMG saloon, after the Coupe version was launched. For a while, Mercedes-AMG jointly tested the two models, but after the 2-door was out, no one saw fresh scoops of the sedan until today. The prototype has been spotted by spy photographers doing a run on the Nurburgring. Wearing little camouflaged, the vehicle emphasized a pre-2011 C 63 AMG visual trim with a lowered ride height and extended wheel arches, as well as some complicated measuring instruments installed on each of the four wheels. The new C 63 AMG Limousine Black Series could be revealed towards the end of 2011 and borrow all the finely-tuned technologies from the Coupe sibling. So, expect up to 517 hp of maximum output out of the 6.2-litre V8, AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT-7 gearbox and many other delicious stuff.

Proceed to Carscoop and check out the complete spy shots!

P.S.: Could this car actually be a test mule for the AMG version of the future CLC-Class compact 4-door coupe?
