The Mercedes-Benz Concept Shooting Break, showcased in April this year at the Beijing Motor Show, has been recently given the go to enter serial production in 2012. The second version developed under the new CLS lineup will be, as already known, a niche model in the form of a very dynamic, coupe-ish and elegant 4-door wagon, internally codenamed X 218. With the help of it, Mercedes-Benz will reinvent the Shooting Brake body and aura by its own premium standards. The new CLS SB will be premiered either towards the end of 2011 or in early 2012 and will be assembled at the Sindelfingen plant along with its brother, the new CLS Coupé.
