F1 Abu Dhabi - More Friday Photos (MGP)

This season's F1 finale commenced yesterday on the extravagant Yas Marina Bay Circuit from Abu Dhabi. Although the first results obtained during the FP1 and FP2 sessions held on Friday don't fully speak for themselves, the MERCEDES GP PETRONAS drivers and officials said the situation looks promising for the events to come. The team has done a good setup work and managed to solve certain recurrent technical issues to the W01 car, but Nico Rosberg didn't hesitate to complain that he was just not able to make the most out of the F-duct system fitted to his single-seater. Michael Schumacher got in touch with the Arabian F1 track for the first time and his prime impression was encouraging, as he stated he finds it challenging and exciting to participate in a twilight-conditions race. After the practice rounds, Nico came home 9th and 10th in the timesheets, whereas Michael was faster in FP1, ranking on P7, and slightly slower in FP2, finishing just behind his team mate, on P11.
