The new A-Klasse AMG hatchback will come packed full of high-end technology. The engineers from Affalterbach will develop a new all-wheel-drive rear-biased technical platform, which is supposed the desired dynamic, sport-oriented on-road behaviour. Under the bonnet, this naughty AMG hatch will receive a new 4-cylinder, inline unit, which is said to be elaborated using the current M271 EVO engine as basis. The new powerplant will be the first AMG motor to boast wave-pulse supercharger technology, co-developed in partnership with the Switzerland-based firm Hyprex.
