A user from Motor Talk got his hand on what seems to be an internal brochure from Mercedes-Benz, which contains information about an updated G-Klasse codenamed BR 463, due to be unveiled approx. in September 2008. The exterior design won't be heavily revised;the only changes will include a new radiator grille and new visually-enhanced rims. The new G will also borrow telematics systems from the recently released models, like the SL or ML, including the COMAND APS and LINGUATRONIC. The G 500 version will be powered by the 5.5 litres V8 producing 388 BHP, while the sporty G 55 AMG will have its V8 KOMPRESSOR unit pumped up to 507 BHP.
