Ladies and gentlemen, it's still unofficially official, but superb photos of the soon-to-be-unveiled GLK-Klasse have been leaked on the net today, and thanks to some car maniacs, we can delight our eyes with the boxy shapes of the new compact SUV from Stuttgart earlier than predicted. The official press kit is to be issued only on Sunday, as the premiere at Beijing is to be held in the same day.

The new GLK-Klasse will be powered by a wide range of engines, borrowed from its brother C-Klasse. The top of the range is thew GLK 350 4MATIC, a gasoline V6 unit which develops 272 BHP, enough to reach the electronically limited speed of 250 km/h. For the ones who loves diesels, the sporty GLK 320 CDI 4MATIC will be there to satisfy your highest desires in dynamics, equipped with a 3.0 litres V6 engine developing 224 BHP. There are rumours that in the future the GLK 350 will receive the recently updated 305 BHP 3,5 litres V6, which currently powers the SLK-Klasse. We also learn that the GLK will be offered in two versions of traction:RWD and AWD, but also in two equipment versions:one designed for the off-road and one specially made for the asphalte. Some say that a possible RHD of the GLK could be offered, but there is still a lot of fog over this subject.
