• Features from Mercedes-Benz TV included in the new TV platform

Stuttgart, Germany, Aug 25, 2008 — As of August 29, 2008 Mercedes-Benz TV, the Internet TV channel of the Stuttgart automobile manufacturer, will also be available via TV DIGITAL Personal. This new personalized TV platform provided by publisher Axel Springer [1] is to be launched at the forthcoming IFA consumer electronics trade fair in Berlin. Mercedes-Benz TV will feature in the schedules of the new platform as a fully independent channel.



"For more than one year, Mercedes-Benz TV has been enabling online viewers to experience the fascination of our brand in even more diverse ways," says Dr. Olaf Göttgens, Vice President Brand Communications Mercedes-Benz Cars. "Via the innovative platform TV DIGITAL Personal, we will now be able to reach new target audiences even more closely with current items from Mercedes-Benz TV."

TV DIGITAL Personal offers viewers the chance to select their own personalized program, precisely tailored to their wishes and interests, from all the existing TV and Internet TV channels. Mercedes-Benz TV will appear as a fully independent channel alongside the public and private TV channels. Moreover, TV DIGITAL Personal will also actively offer viewers specific program items on the basis of their personal viewing habits. This includes features from Mercedes-Benz TV, which will provide an exclusive look behind-the-scenes at, for example, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks or the brand's motor sport activities in the DTM and Formula One series.

Mercedes-Benz TV was launched in June 2007. Items on view at www.mercedes-benz.tv offer an exclusive insight into the areas of lifestyle, products, and motor sport as well as the history and innovation of this premium automobile brand.
