SPY - 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse Coupe - Standard & AMG versions spotted

The reveal of the new S-Klasse Coupe is around next corner, but spy shots still continue to come.

This time, we see 2 barely camouflaged prototypes, wandering around the constructor's facility in Stuttgart. For the time first since the CL has begun its lifespan, there will be a strict differentiation between the standard version and the AMG ones. The normal S-Klasse Coupe will boast a new, 2-slat radiator grille, whereas its supersporty sibling will sport a one-slat grille. Obviously, the individualisation doesn't end here:different bumpers, front air intakes, rear diffusers and exhaust pipes.

The new S-Klasse Coupe will be powered by a range of highly powerful and efficiency-oriented engines-the new 4.7 liters V8 for the S 500 and the 5.5 liters twin-turbo V8 for the S 63 AMG(which might be renamed to S 55 AMG). The other two hardcore powerplants, the V12 units for the S 600 and the S 65 AMG, will remain basically untouched.
