These pictures shed a new light over Maybach's near future. Though many thought that the exclusive manufactory is listening to its swansong, it appears Merc bosses may still want to revive the legendary carmaker.

Beginning with a facelift of the current range, so to technologically and visually update and enhance their luxury cars. Among the exterior changes we can mention the new front bumper which will certainly display LED lights, first seen on the new E-Klasse. The upcoming Maybach 62 FL will also receive slightly revised radiator grille and rear bumper.

The starting point looks good. Who knows, maybe in some years, we will see a whole new model from Maybach, one that will not be just an elongated S-Klasse, one that will indeed raise sales, one that will finally be able to compete with Rolls-Royce.

Because it would be such a shame to burry Maybach again...
