Here you have it, under layers of camouflage, measuring instruments, notebooks and juice bottles:the dashboard of the future Mercedes-Benz M-Klasse.
As seen from the images, the styling of the dash will be far more driver-oriented and sportier than that of the current M-Klasse model. Contrary to the new, angular design philosophy adopted by Mercedes-Benz, the dashboard will display beautifully sculpted curvy lines and an attractive center console with new air vents. The future COMAND system, with its LED display and new operating controller, is also on the list. The instrument cluster will go on with the current arrangement idea, that of the completely separated turometer and speedometer, each located in its own alveolus.
Moving our attention to the front armrest, we see that there are definitely more controls than usual. Apart from the COMAND controller which can be easily recognized, we could only wonder what those other buttons are useful for:probably a new 4x4 management system, with specific settings for specific running surfaces. There will also be plenty of fine materials for customizing the dashboard, such as wood and metal trims.
