There is very little time left until the moment our eyes will, for the first time, be(hopefully!) delighted with the image of the premium luggage carrier from Stuttgart.


The new E-Klasse T-Modell, codenamed S 212, will be premiered on the stage of IAA Frankfurt 2009, in September. As expected, the wagon will borrow all the technical & technologycal, state-of-the-art, high-end gimmicks from the W 212 Limousine. So, Blind Spot Assist, Attention Assist, Speed Limit Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Night View Assist Plus(lots of 'Assist's!), a bunch of airbags, a set of clever of headlights baptized Intelligent Lighting System, the DISTRONIC PLUS radar and the pinnacle of the assistance technologies, the enhanced PRE-SAFE system, are to be offered for the T-Modell as well. Don't forget to add to this already rich list an extensive range of luxury materials such as leather upholstery, wood & metal trims, a giant-capacity trunk of approximately 700 litres and a fuel-efficient unit from the engine range and you have yourself in front of one of the most desired and appealing break models in this segment of the market.

But, for sure, there will always be one painful issue when it comes to a Merc:the price. Expect the tag to begin from somewhere around 43k-44k euros. OUCH!
